We have a very active Senior Adult Ministry here at First Baptist. There are three monthly opportunities throughout the year:

1. Senior Adult Trips:  Each month we hop on the bus and take a trip to plays at the Barter Theater or Flat Rock Theater, Daniel Stowe Gardens, the beach (for overnight trips) and other exciting destinations. (Our next trip will be to Concord Mills Mall on February 16. Check out the bottom of this page for other scheduled events!)
2. Golden Age Club:  Each month we meet with other churches here in town for lunch and a program.
3. Pastor’s Lunch:  Each month we bring a bag lunch and have a Bible Study with our pastor.

Our Senior Adults are also very active in Sunday School, WMU circles, Baptist Men, and many other ministries in the church. Who said the retirement years were for slowing down?!  Come and be a part!
